A dinner and inaugural ceremony was held at the West Bromwich Albion in the Millichip Suite to celebrate the achievements of local hero Dave Heeley and his appointment as patron of Ideal for All, a Smethwick based charity of disabled people.

Some of the people attending the ceremony include Allison Fraser, Chief Executive of Sandwell Council, Richard Nugent, Chairman of the Primary Care Trust and number of local councillors, staff and trustees from Ideal for All including Roy Short the Chairman and Helen Stephens, Vice Chair of Ideal For All.



Dave Heeley has inspired many disabled people of what could be achieved

It is an honour for us that Dave has accepted our request to be a patron of Ideal for All.

said the Executive Director, Naeem Arif.

In the role of Patron of Ideal for All,  Dave will represent the company at local and national events, promoting equality of access to employment and services and engagement of disabled people.
