Information & Marketing Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week (this may include some evening / weekend work as required)
Duration: Until end of March 2012 (continuation is subject to renewal of funding)
Grade: IFA Pay Scale S2/32 (£24491)

Ideal for All is a not for profit company and registered charity run by and for disabled people in Sandwell. It provides a range of services to support disabled people, carers and disadvantaged groups to learn new skills and live as independently as possible.

We currently have a vacancy for an Information and Marketing Officer to:

  • Further develop and implement Ideal for All’s corporate marketing plan.
  • Manage and further develop the Information Service and call centre facility within Ideal for All.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of the Information Service Level Agreement.
  • Oversee and develop the publicity and marketing material for Ideal for All, updating of Ideal for All website and production of annual reports.
  • Provide day-to-day line management to the Information service staff.


This post is based within our Independent Living Services portfolio and for the Information Service part of the role, the post holder will report to the Principal Officer for Independent Living Services.  The Marketing role of the post is of a corporate nature and for this aspect the post holder will report to the Executive Director.
You should have previous experience of working with disabled and disadvantage people
