Ideal for All is a not for profit company and registered charity run by and for disabled people in Sandwell. It provides a range of services to support disabled people, carers and disadvantaged groups to learn new skills and live as independently as possible.

We currently have a vacancy for a Networking Officer for Third Sector Organisations:

• To provide an effective engagement service between Ideal for All and the third sector organisations, including disabled people of all ages.
• To ensure that the engagement service will assist in empowering disabled people to make individual choices and to enable them to make decisions about support and services that affect their lives.
• To organise and take part in local consultations and produce reports, as required.
• To support the Public Relations Officer in achieving the engagement and enablement objectives.
• To formulate and implement a communications strategy around the engagement of disabled people.
• To develop opportunities for joint projects with the third sector organisations.

You should have previous experience of working with disabled and disadvantage people
